Hey Derek! 10 minutes are by far too long. It should load history messages for 1 month in this stage. Could it be that one of your messaging relays was slow at this time? Otherwise try to logout (settings/security) and try again.
- Do you have a lot of NIP-17 messages?
- Are you using Amber over relays? (that will be very very slow)
