I like the 32nd Century jump, honestly. Just like TNG did, we take Star Trek into an unfamiliar future where everything is new again. That was a brilliant audible mid-series for Discovery.
As a lifelong Star Trek fan, I can categorically say:
* I don't want a Section 31 series/movie, and I don't want any more of the Emperor (love Michelle Yeoh, however).
* I don't want any more prequels. Pick a fucking timeline and stick with it, FFS.
* Star Trek Picard S3 was great fun, but I'm done with Star Trek nostalgia and fan service (LD excepted). Give us something new, please please please.
