(Blaze, my ragtop ‘Stang, is happier after annual maintenance, new fuse. No more overheating.)
When ppl camping find out I only use her in the summer, being a straphanger all winter, they inevitably ask why I don’t just rent a car.
This leads to the requisite question of where do I store all the camping gear and why take all the time to load up a rental each trip…
…They imagine my tent etc. just appearing as if by magic, I think.

People want to blend in, grey is a way to fade into the distance. And, then, there's Blaze (pictured camping).
I wanted a used 6-cyl automatic Mustang ragtop, any color outside but tan interior. I ended up with red, which was a ticket magnet the first three years (I cruise control just over speed limit now).
She's crossed 100K miles, still purrs like a lion. Named after redhead stripper and B movie actress Blaze Starr (they both drop their tops!).
