Dems made promising starts in 2021, but didn't grasp the existential nature of the threat and didn't move aggressively or quickly enough.
But the Democrats are the only avenue to power in the near term. We must drive a more progressive party, while keeping a big enough tent to wield power.
Not a high certainty of success, but other options are much worse.
