We’re convinced we animate our bodies.

That we’re the brains running things (like aliens merely using our bodies to get around, a favourite cartoonist once said).

Then we learn our bodies animate us.

The extent to which we depend upon and are made by them.

It’s a hard lesson...

Be kind to yourself.

Eat well.

Enjoy life.

Do your best without punishing yourself.

And know that even then, good as you be, it can end any time.
