Someone in Eastern Europe has a different relationship with colonialism than Western Europe, not only because Western European nations are the primary beneficiaries of a number of centuries-old murderous & exploitative projects across the globe, but also Eastern Europeans really are only *conditionally* white, depending on where the "proper" white people feel like drawing the line in a given context.

I'm not asking you to ignore your context. I am saying your context deserves your attention.
