You’re right. I behave in a way that invites these things so that paras can know where they can be safe. If all you do is investigate that is fine. But if you choose to allow it to be a reason to harm me and those who act openly like me, you will be seen as unsafe. I can’t seem to appeal to you morally, and “case by case” without clear reasoning comes off as justification for going off of vibes and bias. And that is a battle that paras will almost always lose.
