A nice day down at the grid I see. 73.5% renewables and an excess of generation that means a bit is going to Ireland and a lot more into storage. We’ve not hit peak solar yet but the configuration of the grid means we still currently have to run gas, nuclear and biomass generators to provide frequency and voltage stability.
