But yeah, its summation ability is one of the clear strengths of the technology
And having now read a lot of code, its nice to be able to get the gist of an ecosystem, its more reliable the the selection bias of "awesome x projects" too
But, that in mind, I have spent a lot of time reading OSS code, and I feel I learned a lot from it (tho I learn different than others). Feel like a lot of devs would be better off by finding the right balance of code read vs code written for learning
