Check any hashtag with an account made on primal and you'll understand why user retention is so bad.
The same accounts have been spamming hashtags with csam and telegram links for 2 years straight.
Other clients at least have an excuse (you control your relays) but primal doesn't give you that control over your relays. They have a centralised caching server that's better at finding csam than anything else.
