The python wrapper is pretty capable. I was able to create bech32 addresses, send payments to them from coinbase, open a channel with outbound liquidity to the PI node, and send some small payments to my alby wallet. I was also able to close the channel with PI, and withdraw remaining funds back to coinbase.
Docs were minimal but the community has a discord and telegram group which were helpful.
