I do know about discord alternatives, but telling people to switch to a different program when the one they use pretty much satisfies their needs is usually a useless effort.

Yeah, discord should fix their shit considering it's not that hard, but until Linux market share rises enough to be noticeable we're pretty much condemned to deal with it this way.
