You just got to use a clean tarp and a bucket to harvest rainwater straight from the sky.
It rains so much there. You could probably just use the bucket, you got to put some sort of mosquito netting over it though or you're fucked.
Just you know, be mindful of birds and critters. I got critters that live on a roof so I keep the tarp. It doesn't hit the roof very much.
You don't want any of it coming off your roof at all.
You can use roof water for bathing and plants.
If you distill or boil it, you can drink it.
Empty the bucket water into 1 gallon containers, empty it into Gatorade bottles if not.
Must all be cleaned use soap I guess. But make sure you get all the soap off or you will have big problems.
In theory, water should keep for a while in 1 gallon containers. I don't know how long it'll last in the bucket before you got to clean the thing again.
