PHEW! Most of the heavy work is done! I levelled a little spot behind the top pond between the hedge and large lilac bush. Moved the barrels into position, and layered in large rocks 🪨 on the bottom to protect the plumbing and provide lots of space for water and debris to collect. Then I filled it up to 40cm below the top of the barrels with 1in river rock. The top layer will be pea gravel. Mañana! #pandemicPond #pondlife #garden #bogfilter
