Back then I had this view that the best photos are taken with the camera you have with you. So I sorted out all kinds of bags, like expensive proper bags, where I always had room for my DSLR and 1-2 extra lenses, unless I used one of my proper camera bags where I could carry "everything". It became second nature to bring the smallest bag, or the slingbag. I kind of lost it when I moved back to Sweden though (well, new job, new house, new baby etc, so a lot on my mind I guess).
I did a serious attempt in getting back in to it a couple of years ago, but...last promo shoot I did with my friends band I brought my DSLR (which isn't brandnew any longer) and my phone (iPhone 14 Pro). 100% of the pics we ended up using came from the phone.
