As great an idea EU OS ( [@eu_os](https://eupolicy.social/@eu_os ) ) is, I would strongly recommend shying away from RHEL and subsidiaries (that includes Centos and Fedora) as possible candidates.
This idea should be a reality - and we should be looking at EU-originated distributions, as we should strife for autonomy, independence, security and supportability.
openSuSE is German. That's good. Ubuntu and its brethren are British (and with a smidgen of hope, Great Britain will rejoin the EU), then there's Molinux (Spain).
