You did not decide what to do for a living - they did.
Why does tech - something that, really, has marginal societal value when you consider all of the resource usage and waste it creates - pay more than something as critical as growing and harvesting food?
I'm not talking about the industries here - that's rich people shit.
I'm talking about the workers.
Yes, I am complaining that I get paid more than a field worker.
I kind of enjoy working in the field. But I can't afford it.
