Oh yeah, sometimes it's necessary. People definitely want to run me over a lot. It is what it is.
For my part, when I'm driving, I don't mind going slower behind cyclists for a few moments. The vast majority of the time my driving is slowed down or stopped, it's by other cars. Most drivers are very bad at driving though, so they don't understand this.
