Hurricane Debby is done with us. No serious damages but we have received an insane amount of rain.

If in normal weather we often wonder why there are ditches everywhere around the roads, it is because of those unusual weather events. They have worked.

I keep saying each time we have a hurricane or a massive amount of rain, we need to work on our topsoil to allow them to be a sponge for the water.

If we want to limit the damages caused by floods we need to have a national composting program and spray compost on the at-risk area. This will save a lot of houses and money.
