Your regular reminder that when you have a domain name that you like when don't use anymore, do not let it expire. Afterwards, when you want to actually use it again, the chances that someone has bought it to squat it with the purpose of charging you an insane amount of money when you want it back are about 100%.
Now, I need to find a replacement.
What do you think of these TLDs (I'm not telling you the name in case of some evil squatter reads this and buys them all - also it's a site that, while not being anonymous, I don't want associated with this account directly)?
Is .international too long?
Is .ooo to silly/obscure?
Is .institute too pretentious/lame?
Is .today appropriate for something that is not news and won't be updated daily, far from it?
I know it's hard for you to give me a feedback without knowing what it is for, but basically a blog/fediverse account with a mix of shitposts and sometimes more serious stuff.
