- A lot of good and talkative mathematicians went to Bluesky, like Timothy Gowers and Daniel Litt and Gro-Tsen (= David Madore), so I feel the need to spend time there - and there is useful discussion about the recent convulsions in math and AI there. But Mathstodon allows for much longer posts, and Tao is here writing long thoughtful pieces, so Mastodon is holding its own.

One unfortunate thing is that the pro-AI people stay on Twitter while the mood on Bluesky and Mastodon is strongly anti-AI, so we get two echo chambers of opposing viewpoints instead of conversations between people who disagree.
