okay, got a label maker so that I can AVOID the problem that caused me to brick some drives in my ZFS array: I can now, upon receiving or pulling the HD, print a label with the serial number and slap it on the back.
THIS way, when a drive dies, I can get the serial number from the machine and just pull the right one. Instead of being "pretty sure" I can do it without that...
