I was able to onboard all of my Kasa devices with the HACS TP-Link integration (none of mine are Matter though). The devices still have to go through TP-Links cloud which isn't ideal but I'm paying the price for investing so heavily before learning about HA or Zigbee. One of these days I'll migrate to another switch though but that needs time and money
