Sick and tired of #pihole , required #vpn to connect from outside home, #vps to avoid #NAT issues and for resilience, ...
I'm back to #NextDNS and even then, I might just configure a standard #quad9 DNS on my home router and rely on #Mullvad VPN for day to day usage.
This is too complex, too manual, and as much as I love control, this is affecting my daily dose of fun online or even offline.
(This is in NO way criticism to those great solutions nor to those who have the patience to get it running, this is just me, lucky for not needing a too strict threat model and being tired 😅❤)
