that (very good) column also touches on a very, very important point about the Supreme Court judgment: the judgment is authority for the proposition that it is *lawful* to exclude trans women from women-only spaces. It is not authority for the proposition that one *must* do so. The EHRC’s assertion to the contrary is - to use the technical legal term - utter bollocks.
