Most of us, if given the chance, would do just about *ANYTHING* other than our job if we didn't need the money.
But we're expected to sell a *MINIMUM* of 40 hours of our lives every week to someone else, not counting unpaid commute time, lunch, etc., *JUST TO EXIST*.
And of course we pursue the highest paying position available to us - we want to buy our freedom. We want to retire early and be financially free.
The only easy to do that is to exploit other workers.
Hence the stock market.
