There was definitely a lot packed into this episode, and some of it was pretty quickly dealt with. The Mule switcharoo felt a little underdeveloped, I think.
Largely though, I'm fine just adding those to the wild plot turns that this show has been taking since season 1. There's still a Dawn out on New Terminus who might be old enough for Lee Pace to take over the part whenever next season takes place. And some avatar of Demerzel could well remain in the Prime Radiant.
