Compound words are still the best feature of the German language.
You can say a word, that probably never ever said and everyone understands and it makes sense.
I just said "Hochleistungsheißluftfriteuse" and it makes sense. I love it.
It's my native language and I'm 35, but I still appreciate it at least once a week.
