Could deepwater floating wind farms be a new green technology where the UK could lead the way?
Possibly, possibly not.... one floating wind-turbine needing maintenance was towed away from the Scottish coast to Norway (across the North Sea) because facilities were no available on the nearer coast.
There's opportunities in renewables, but that needs investment & where does the UK lag?
Not enough easy/quick returns for the suits in the City?
