I spend more time on Masto than Bluesky, but I find it interesting that this guy is running almost the entire stack required for bluesky, including ingesting the firehose of all the millions of users, on a 200 USD / month server:

That's not far off twice the cost of larger "galaxy” size hosted instance from Masto-host, intended for hosting low thousands of users:

They're not the same thing obviously, but still, it caught my eye.
