I only have experience with Ubuntu, which is generally fine, but also I don't have any experience with doing music production on it, so idk really. But I'm sure someone can give you tips!
I do know there's a creator-focused version of Ubuntu called Ubuntu Studio: https://ubuntustudio.org/
That's the one I'd probably give a go.
