Yes, it would very much be worth it, for at least two reasons:
1: accessibility. Some can use a text-to-speach solution. Others don't know how but may still want to access the information and have difficulty reading long text, or not have time for that etc.
2: the connection people feel when they hear someone's voice, no matter how it sounds, is an amazing experience at least for me. i personally wanna hear the voice behind the pretty words <3
