"content": "This.\n\nI've never felt the \"Imposter syndrome\" too much here, but I know some Japanese (and English native speakers) have looked down on me as an English teacher because I'm not native. I don't usually care. What I care about is when some bozos become English teachers here despite their obvious absence of teaching (or even social) skills just because they're native speakers.
