Your academic qualifications far outweigh mine.
I base what I say about printing money a country has not earned on 2 things, my experience in the UK, i.e when the Tories had to prop up the pound they (often) crash, and what happened in Germany between the wars, although in Germany the hyper-inflation was not just caused by printing money.
I defer to your much higher qualification.
