I was at a hotel in Scotland in the Summer and they had a Swifts nesting in the hole near a down pipe, and you could actually see, 4 young birds popping their heads out waiting to be fed.

If you are saying the mobile phone shops in Beirut - allowed their products to be 'modified' I am not sure that I agree with you.
I thinks the 'modifications' would have been done before they arrived in the shops.

I am not trying to be controversial, I am putting my Political beliefs out there in the same way others are, for debate, I know that my Political persuasion is not popular, I voted Labour ever General Election but the 2010 one.
Labour is not perfect, it never was, no Political Party is perfect, and any Party other than the Tories or Reform UK would have said the same thing, the UK is broke hard decisions need to be made.

I have only not voted Labour once and that was 2010, I voted Lib Dem and they gave my vote to their nearest allies Political the Tories.
We have to go to the local Hospital later to see a NHS COnsultant who save my partners life and leg, it took months of being in an in Patient and 5 big operations with Frames.
Free at the point of need I thank Labour for putting the NHS into place for u, I despise those that brought in under-funding austerity that has nearly broke it.

We all know that the Tories crashed our economy and an tough decisions are going to have to be made to address this, but every thing they say and do is battered down.

The last thing (IMO) that Maggie Thatcher did was treat the UK Tax coffers as an Household budget, but, yes you could think along those terms when the Household budget is stretched to it's limit, it is best not to get into more debt but cut your cloth to suit your income.

I never said 'no credit' I said I do not think that a Government is doing a Country any good by just printing stacks of cash the country has not earned, and given the mess the UK is in post the greedy Tory/Super-rich Brexit, I believe we should think long and hard about printing lots of dosh to ease our lack if it right now.
But, as I said, I am no expert.

Your academic qualifications far outweigh mine.
I base what I say about printing money a country has not earned on 2 things, my experience in the UK, i.e when the Tories had to prop up the pound they (often) crash, and what happened in Germany between the wars, although in Germany the hyper-inflation was not just caused by printing money.
I defer to your much higher qualification.

All I know is, the Tories emptied our Tax coffers and put the UK into a massive amount of National debt, and that debt has to be addressed and paid back and with no money, there are going to be difficult decisions made.
