The Govt.'s attempt to 'reset' relations with the EU looks to be already losing momentum; EU officials see the UK's stance on a range of issues as misunderstanding the UK's (relatively weak) negotiating position.
The biggest 'probelm' is the (renewed) demand by the EU that to benefit from a range of EU programmes as a non-member the UK needs to make a substantial contribution to the EU's central budget... while logical this would be a difficult political moment in the UK.
