But these kinds of hot button wedge issues, they follow this pattern, where the fash takes a side, often intentionally inflamatory and simplistic, and this obliges their enemies to take a side which mirrors it which is often also overly simplistic, and you set up a situation where both sides are wrong, to a greater or lesser extent, it's a false binary, encouraged by corpo algorithms to drive engagement thru outrage that leads us all to waste time, become accustomed to terrible reasoning and ostracize people with more reasonable positions.
