The mimicry can work, almost to perfection, for the quacking and the walking. It's not embodied in the right kind of way.

So: I think you can reproduce language & reasoning to an arbitrary accuracy with computational systems that have no experience or consciousness at all.

I just don't see how convincing quacking & walking can then be used to argue for embodied experience or awareness.

There is no account that can do that, because computation is not what does that.
