When I was young edgy counter culture I had that naive I don't want
to pay taxes. But just because I had no conception of my society
and that I was a part of it for better or for worse.

Now as an older edgy radical type I WANT TO PAY taxes that go to social and civil
services. Please can these recovering drug addicts have fantastic counseling and
a nice single room apartment with no responsibilities so they can figure their
shit out.

That seems like heaven to me. A society that gives you a minimum to live
and be comfortable. And I mean the minimum in both
senses.

Even many liberals don't really want that when pressed. They want
people to have more suffering than that. What else does "you mean
not work at all?" mean?

I feel like lots of adults around me are like me when i was younger.
It's annoying but I sorta internalized that notion that it's fine for kids
to learn at whatever pace. To drastically extrapolate, it seems like we
just have a lot of adults that haven't learned yet. maybe that's OK
with these long life spanner wrenches we have.
