My impression: We are moving from top-down changes to bottom-up changes in society. I’m seeing lots of positive grassroots initiatives, lots of goodness at the local level, but the tops of the hierarchies are still often problematic.
I’m not saying that’s a done deal, but there are things to be hopeful about.
