"Don't police people's feelings." Interesting. I guess I was, though I was trying, probably not entirely successfully, to simply express that I take a different approach. Hate what the person did, but try to recognize that people are complicated, and have families. I'm against capital punishment for the same reasons, regardless of the crime.

I try very hard to be a good person, even though I'm an atheist. I would be very surprised if my death is celebrated.
