Yesterday, I managed a first short cycle out of town since landing in emerg a few weeks ago. I can't sit or walk without debilitating pain, but the bike is tolerable, some weight on the arms, spine gently curved, seat lowered for stand-only—I have a tube in my belly at present to prevent hydronephrosis.

Except I got a Selle SMP saddle with fat gel pads and a wide centre gap that makes normal cycling possible again.

Like from heaven.
