Firstly Iran is granting safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz for any ship carrying oil paid for in yuan rather than the USD. This is obviously an attempt to destroy the petrodollar which enables US to continue waging wars and enforce sanctions on countries that don’t serve US interests.
The petrodollar also maintains the USD as a necessary currency for every nation to trade globally which allows the US to print money and run up debt. it’s current debt is over 39 trillion dollars borrowed against federal government assets of approximately $6.1 trillion.
The US Treasury announced earlier this week that the US is now insolvent.
The illegal war against Iran is essentially over the threat posed to US hegemony by a growing global shift to a multipolar system of trade, that meaning the USD is not necessary for to countries to trade with each other.
