I spent several minutes writing an email explaining that I already knew what his AI-generated reply said and that his initial email expected me to have background knowledge that wasn't included.

And then I realized that if he put that little effort into communicating with his colleagues, sending him anything like that would be a waste of time.

So I complained here instead. 🙂
