I’m a gun owner.
I believe in and appreciate the rights afforded to us by the 2nd amendment.
Yet I don’t understand how any rational, empathetic person - let alone a parent - can listen to the stories of loss related to gun violence and not want to get on a chair and *scream* for stronger gun violence laws. It’s unfathomable to me.
If the GOP can take away your right to body autonomy, and suppress your right to vote - they can restrict the right to own firearms under red flag laws.
