I've seen the news of a successful treatment of Huntington's described as "a miracle" and it really, really annoys me to see the work of years described as "a miracle". It's not a miracle. People busted their ass for ages, possibly overworked, possibly underpaid. Undergrads and grads toiled in labs at unholy hours on weekends. It's not a miracle. I don't even want to say "It's science" because it's not about the scientific method (ok, it is in this case, but), it's about the very hard work.
