Fukuyama’s end of history was about reaching the end state of politics and economy - liberal democracy and free market capitalism dominating the world due to their natural attractiveness and efficiency - and eventual global cooperation. Now he says his theory no longer works because he couldn’t predict AI, but I can think of another issue he failed to take into account.
