It seems like techpowerup changed their methodology for testing SSD power consumption around April/May, specifically with regard to the power vs speed graph.
Up to April[1], all the reviews I looked at showed the read power curve mostly flat throughout the speed range. But starting with May[2], it seems to grow linearly similar to the write power curve...
Now, I didn't check all the reviews in those time ranges, so maybe it's sth else
