utilitarian philosophers are evil tbh
they create nonsense scenarios (torture one person for a disarming code to save a thousand) that one, don't happen, two, dont make sense because how could you know youd get the code, and three how could you know for certain it would save them
and then they get people to agree and gradually whittle it down until it's just "torture is ok for the greater good yknow"
