The temperature today soared up to 90°F (32°C) with a dewpoint in the mid 60s. When I first moved to western Massachusetts in the 1990s this kind of weather was unheard of in the summer. Now it's the norm.
We spent most of the day inside with short walks for Sadie to do her business. Every time we encountered the shade of a tree, she would lie down in the cool grass. Neither one of us are summer people - give us autumn winds and winter snow.
